Do I have to supply your house painter with paint?If you have already purchased paint, our house painters will look at the product and give you advice on whether it’s likely to achieve the finish you’re after on your exterior or interior painting project. We can supply all paint if required.

Do I have to prepare the surfaces to be painted by myself?No. Site preparation is part of the painting services that NEST PAINTING provides to our clients.

Do I need to move my furniture out of the rooms that your interior house painters will be working in?Prior to the project starting, the experienced professional painters at NEST PAINTING will thoroughly inspect the site and will give you all the information you need well in advance of the commencement of your interior house painting.

Do you offer commercial painting services?Yes, we offer commercial painting services all year long. We can paint exteriors and interiors of buildings including new construction, multi-family units, apartment complexes, condos, and more.

Do you only paint residential properties?No. NEST PAINTING has a team of NSW commercial painters who can assist with projects of any size. Our industrial painters are very experienced in working safely, quickly and in liaison with site managers and project managers on large construction projects.

What should I do to prepare for estimate?It’s best for all decision-makers to be present at the time of the estimate. If not, make sure you discuss all work together ahead of time. We recommend that you: Make a list of all the work you want done for each room or on the exterior of your home. Choose colors and / or finishes. Make a list of what you did and did not like about your last paint job or painter. Identify your budget. We realize that painting your home is a major investment. We want to earn your business and can tailor a proposal for every budget. The estimate will take approximately 60-90 minutes.

What is the price range for house painting?Pricing Internal Painting: 2 Bedroom Apartment Services: Preparation, Minor Repairs, Repainting of ceilings, walls and doors. Range $2500 – $4000 + GST Internal Painting: Single Storey 3 Bedroom house Services: Preparation, Minor Repairs, Repainting of eaves, guttering and timberworks. Range $4500 – $6000 + GST Roof Painting: 3 Bedroom Home Services: Pressure Cleaning and 2 coats of Clear Concrete Sealer Range $2900 – $4500 + GST Driveway : Stencil Driveway ( 5m x 6 m) Services: Pressure Cleaning and 2 coats of Clear Concrete Sealer Range $950 – $1300 + GST

I’m not sure which paint color is right for my project, can you help?Our experienced professional painters can make suggestions that may help you choose a paint color. We also have access to an experienced color consultant.

Can you also repair my drywall or rotten wood?As a painting company that prides itself on quality and professionalism, we can repair holes and cracks in drywall before we start painting. We offer a variety of other services, too, including repair of rotted wood, wood siding replacement, windowsill repair, and other small carpentry jobs. If it’s not listed, just ask! We want to earn your business.

When can I expect my estimate?In most cases, we provide you with a printed proposal at the end of the on-site estimate, along with a price that includes all materials and labor.

Do I have to provide scaffolding as part of a large exterior house painting project?Safety is paramount to NEST PAINTING – if scaffolding is needed we will advise you at the quote stage. If scaffolding is required, we have established relationships with scaffolding providers that may be able to assist.

What paint products do your commercial and house painters use?At NEST PAINTING, we use only quality, trusted painting products such as Dulux, Wattyl, Haymes, Solver and Resene.
